Sweet fairytales with a burning effect, that is where I have been founding inspiration.

Doces contos-de-fadas com um efeito ardente é onde tenho encontrado inspiração.

Haute couture Spring-Summer 2013
Chanel

It looks like the Grand Palais, in the neoclassical Edinburgh, has given rise to a gothic eccentricity that couldn't not be associated to Karl Lagerfeld's genius. It was in between a forest (so vivid that the complexity of the space perfectly entwines with the dynamism of the clothes), replete with trees brought especially for the event, that the grand Chanel's pieces have paraded. What an outstanding moment for high fashion! Unhesitatingly, it was one of the most impressive collections this season. Such Romanticism, inspired in Schiller's plays and in Weimar's solemnity...
How can Langerfeld innovate himself in such a consistent way? This collection was decidedly glorious, resplendent of shine and glow. The tweeds were prominent, creating a romantic and feminine look for daytime. On the other hand, the contrasting sequins, crusted with so much rigour and patience (I imagine!), outshine the night, and because this evening had to have multiplicity, dense floral padderns also "flowered" through the Nature, although somewhat maladjusted...
The silhouettes appeared demarcated by strong shoulders, approaching greatly to the intensity of armours. Such attribute has the intention of highlight the neck and, although being aggressive, the entire look has been eased out by the incredible embroidery work.
Drama and melancholy have embedded the collection and have I already mentioned the hair accessories that the models featured? Feathers, a niche of feathers! Just like birds that have been (re)born amongst the trees... How poetic!
The makeup followed equally the fantasy of the scenery and didn't they look like dolls? A fantastic black smockey eye opening and projecting the eyes like a burst of light, rosy cheeks and lips completed the show.
But there's nothing like a social message to finish the day. The show ended with two brides who, more importantly than the magnificent dresses, represented gay marriage, which is at the moment a very sensible subject in la France.

Parece que o Grand Palais, no neoclássico Edimburgo, deu lugar a uma excentricidade gótica que não poderia não ser associada ao génio de Karl Lagerfeld. Foi entre uma floresta (tão realista que a complexidade do espaço entrelaça-se perfeitamente com o dinamismo das roupas), repleta de árvores trazidas especialmente para o evento, que desfilaram as altissímas peças da Chanel. Que momento marcante para a alta costura! Decididamente uma das mais impressionantes colecções da estação. Tamanho Romantismo, inspirado nas peças de Schiller e na solenidade de Weimar...
Como consegue Langerfeld se renovar a ele próprio continuamente? Gloriosa foi decididamente esta colecção, resplandescente de brilho e glow. Os tweeds foram marcantes, criando um romântico e feminino look para a luz do dia. Já as contrastantes lantejoulas, encrustadas com tal rigor e paciência (imagino eu!), ofuscam a noite, e como um pouco de diversidade é sempre interessante, cerrados padrões florais também "floriram" pela Natureza, se bem que um pouco desajustados...
As silhuetas apareceram demarcadas por fortes ombros, aproximando-se grandemente à intensidade de uma armadura. Tal atributo tem o propósito de acentuar o pescoço e, ainda que agressivo, o look foi aligeirado pelo incrível trabalho dos bordados.
Drama e melancolia embutiram esta colecção e já mencionei os acessórios que as modelos apresentaram no cabelo? Penas, um nicho de penas! Como pássaros (re)nascidos por entre as árvores. Poético...
Já a maquilhagem seguiu igualmente a fantasia do cenário e não pareciam elas umas bonecas? Um incrível smockey eye preto a projectar e a abrir o olho como um raio de luz, bochechas e lábios suavemente rosados completaram o show.
Mas nada como uma mensagem de carácter social para terminar este dia. O show foi encerrado por duas noivas que, mais importante que os maravilhosos vestidos, representam o casamento homossexual, tema mediático em França.
