Elie Saab it's definitely one of the most talented designers in the fashion world, who's utopian vision of a fairytale embodied in the art of dressmaking doesn't fail to impress me each new season.
Every single one of his creations, any piece that walks down the runway, it's a dream, an epithet of femininity, emphasized by the use of incredible details and embroideries.
Elie Saab is a women's designer, a brilliant mind that composes fantasies. His dresses exhale elegance and sophistication and the feminine silhouette it's his ultimate inspiration.
This is the time when designers amaze their audiences with the perplexing combinations that characterize the high fashion, and so we could testify once again the irresistible classicism inherent to Mr.Saab's designs that enchanted (at least for me) the Parisian runways.
As always, the embroidery work was quite noticeable, this time in earthly tones and with the softness of lace, tulle and transparencies. "An Ode to Delicateness", that's how the collection was defined: the illusive and deceptive necklines, the translucent sleeves, the scintillation, the crystals, the solid colors (with some surprising reds and blacks) are conclusive.
However, a few dresses seemed to contradict the brand's aesthetic through the use of floral prints mixed with baroque patterns. Intelligently and subtly dramatic, with a touch of lightness and purity.
Elie Saab's creations are luxury, ostentation, beauty. His creations perfectly fit the red carpets. I can already predict some of these magnificent dresses VA-VA-VOOing me at the Oscars. Envy!

Elie Saab é sem dúvida um dos mais talentosos designers no mundo da moda, cuja visão utópica de um conto de fadas incorporada na arte de criar vestidos não falha em impressionar-me em cada nova estação.
Cada uma das suas criações, qualquer peça que pisa a catwalk é um sonho, um epíteto de feminilidade acentuada pelo uso de incríveis detalhes e bordados.
Elie Saab é o designer da mulher, é o designer para a mulher. Os seus vestidos emanam elegância e sofisticação, tornando-se a silhueta feminina a sua grande inspiração.
Sendo esta a altura em que os estilistas deslumbram todos os olhos com as intrincadas combinações características da alta costura, mais uma vez pudemos testemunhar o irresistível classicismo inerente às criações do Mr.Saab que encantaram (pelo menos a mim) as passareles parisienses.
Como sempre, os bordados fizeram-se notar, desta vez em tons terrenos e com a suavidade da renda, do tule e das transparências. "Uma Ode à Delicadeza", assim foi definida a colecção: decotes ilusórios, mangas translúcidas, brilhos, cristais, cores sólidas (ainda com um pop de vermelhos e pretos) assim o preditam.
Contudo, uns quantos vestidos provaram contradizer o estético da marca através do uso de estampados florais juntamente com padrões barrocos. Inteligentemente e subtilmente dramáticos, com um toque de leveza e pureza. Oh-lá-lá!
As criações de Elie Saab são luxo, ostentação, beleza, feitas à medida da red carpet. Já prevejo alguns dos modelos a desfilar nos Óscares. Que inveja!
